Ambitious for Mapperley and Nottingham

I'm a Councillor for Mapperley ward, which is north-east of Nottingham city centre.

I'm also Deputy Leader of Nottingham City Council. 

I've been a Councillor for nearly 15 years and the scale of what we can do has been transformed by over 10 years of Labour Gov't. 

A record period of economic growth.  Unemployment halved.  Waiting times for operations hugely reduced.  The best ever attainment by children.  Crime falling.  Investment in integrated transport and the Nottingham tram.  Increased aid for the third world. 

Labour is ambitious for Britain and the world.  For Nottingham and Mapperley. 

This web-site seeks to convey that ambition. 

Politics has made a difference.  And this web-site is just one statement for politics in an era of a 24 hour, know-better media.
